Building A Bucket List
Wednesday, November 27, 2019
Building a bucket list is something that many people do. It is a list of various things that you want to achieve, goals that you want to meet, and dreams that you want to reach before breathing your last. While not everyone builds a bucket list, there are many reasons why you should consider doing so:
- Most people go through life, doing the same things every single day. There are times when the monotony gets to them, and frustration seeps into their lives. Creating a bucket list allows you to take a break from the monotony and think about some of the things that you would like to do in your life.
- Experiencing things that are different from what you see and do every single day is what makes our lives interesting. That is what you are supposed to put on to your bucket list.
- There is always a difference between things that we have to do, and ones that we want to do. Your bucket list needs to mention the latter. When you have an actual list before you, you have something to look forward to, and that keeps you going.
- Many people create a to-do list or even a list of goals. But these are different from a bucket list which may not have anything to do with your performance at work, your career, health, etc.
- When you create a bucket list, you may feel that some of the things seem to be very insignificant. However, if they hold meaning to you, there was keeping there. Going back to that list and trying to run through it one by one allows you to look at your life and what you are doing from a different perspective.
