Dear Jackie, his sons and daughter,
Please accept our heartfelt condolences. Wendy and I feel privileged to have called Nick a friend. He was a gifted writer of both prose and poetry, who had a devilish eye for the absurdities of life. A gifted conversationalist we would always seek him out during intermissions of the Met Opera broadcasts and come away feeling enlightened as well as amused. Our world is darker and duller for his having left it.
